Hostile Range
Kate McIntyre has poured every ounce of herself into holding onto her family’s Georgia ranch. Then a warning arrives: sell the land or suffer the consequences.
Kate won’t back down. It’s not in her blood. God didn’t bring her this far to abandon her now. But someone is watching. Tearing her fledgling business apart, one piece at a time. And whoever it is has already decided how this ends.
Travis Banton came to his grandfather’s ranch seeking refuge after a scandal destroyed his career on the police force. Instead, he found a struggling business, a beautiful but sharp-tongued neighbor, and a small town under threat. When planted evidence points straight at him, Travis knows the only way to clear his name is to convince the one woman who has the most to lose to trust him.
As the danger around them escalates, the distance between them closes in ways neither planned. With the clock ticking and the stakes at their highest, Kate and Travis must decide how much they are willing to risk for their ranches, their lives, and a love that blindsided them both.

For a smaller group of readers
Want to Do More Than Read It Early?
I’m putting together a small launch team for Hostile Range — readers who show up in the first week, when a book’s whole future is being decided.
This isn’t a free-book giveaway. Launch team members buy their own copy, at the lowest price the book will ever be, and post an honest review in the first few days. That’s deliberate: Amazon weighs verified-purchase reviews far more heavily and is far less likely to remove them. A review that stays up is worth more than one that quietly disappears.
In return you get the finished book before anyone else, the story behind the story, the opening chapter of book two ahead of everyone, and a standing invitation to every launch team after this one.
Spots are limited and I read every application myself.
Takes about four minutes. You’ll hear back either way.
Questions readers ask
Is this a clean read?
Yes. No explicit content and no bedroom scenes. The attraction between Kate and Travis is real and it builds — that’s the whole engine of the romance — but it stays on the right side of the door. If you pass your books along to your daughter or your book club at church, this one is safe to hand over.
Is it a standalone or the start of a series?
It’s the first in a series, and it tells a complete story. Kate and Travis get a real ending — no cliffhanger, nothing held hostage to make you buy the next one. But this corner of Georgia has more stories in it, and you’ll meet people here you’ll want to follow.
What formats will it come in?
Paperback and Kindle, both from day one. An audiobook isn’t planned yet — if that’s how you read, tell me. I’m keeping count.
How much faith content is in it?
Enough to matter, never enough to lecture. Kate and Travis pray the way real people pray — sometimes badly, usually when they’re out of other options. Faith shapes their choices rather than interrupting the story to explain itself.
When does Hostile Range come out?
Early 2027. I’ll announce the exact date to my newsletter list before it goes anywhere else.
Do I have to join the launch team to get updates?
Not at all. The newsletter is the easy door and it asks nothing of you. The launch team is a bigger commitment for readers who want one.
